Tactus (San Francisco) is a chamber chorus dedicated to bringing Renaissance polyphony to audiences in the San Francisco Bay Area and to online audiences everywhere. We aim to bring together musicians of diverse identities, ages, and experience to create a musical melting pot of energy and ideas, and to forge musical and personal relationships that will last a lifetime.
From its inception in 2016 until 2024, Tactus was an Affiliate Member of and was fiscally sponsored by San Francisco Early Music Society (SFEMS), which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to increasing public appreciation for historically-informed performance of early music. In 2024, Tactus SF became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We appreciate SFEMS for their support of our choir throughout the years.
